You Scream, I Scream …..

That’s right, the coffeehouse is now serving vanilla, chocolate and twist cones and sundaes! the chocolate came on line last Friday and the vanilla became available last night. The middle dispensing lever blends the two for the twist effect. With Highway 3 torn up, the southside is the place to be for ICE CREAM!

Connected by Wireless!

Leah Lutz, Executive Director of the HOPE Center in Faribault.

Wireless Internet is the way to go and many people are taking advantage of this free service here at the James Gang Coffeehouse. Wether you’re checking your business e-mail or making a bid on E-bay, the coffeehouse is the place to be. The last few weeks of school has found many a student laboring away over a cup of coffee, trying to finish that last paper or just beginning their thesis. Warm surroundings and a hot drink make this a cozy place to be during these unpredictable MN spring days!

Hydroponically grown lettuce from LaBore Farms - Faribault,MN

Since February, we’ve been serving mixed lettuce greens from LaBore Farms, which is located in Faribault, MN. This lettuce is grown in a greenhouse year ’round and is pesticide free.

Unlike store supplied lettuce which is affected by changing seasons, the quality of the hydroponic greens is consistently excellent throughout the year. Many of you are familiar with this product as it is also supplied by Just Food Coop. Hydroponics is the practice of growing plants in solutions that contain all of the essential minerals.
